My sister’s oldest daughter was recently baptized. Her baptism took place right before our family reunion started so practically the entire family was there for her big day.
It was a special experience for all of us and several family members participated in the program, including Bailey who played the piano. My mom spoke during the program and shared some thoughts and stories.
She had us all laughing because of her somewhat scattered delivery. But, we weren’t laughing at her, we were laughing with her. It was really funny and we wish we had recorded her talk.
In any case, we all had a good time and no one was happier than my niece, who excitedly shouted, “Yay!” as soon as she came up out of the water after being baptized.
After the baptism was over, we all headed outside for everyone’s favorite thing: family photos!
